Maria Baufeld
Managing director
Maria founded the agency Frohe Botschaft PR in February 2016. Prior to that she was managing director of the communications agency BEiL² for four years. Between 2008 and 2010, she supported Beiersdorf AG in the communication of international product launches and initiatives to optimize margins for the NIVEA and Eucerin brands and wrote content for the employee magazine face-to-face. As an editor she was responsible for the social column of WELT and WELT AM SONNTAG between 2006 and 2012. At the same time, she wrote for WELT Kompakt, Berliner Morgenpost, the fashion format First Row, published by Burda Verlag, the G+J star spin-off NEON and the Bauer Media weekly Life & Style. In 2003 Maria worked in the editorial department of the online magazine ZOON of Volkswagen AG, the first German-language youth portal with live web talk and social TV. She studied Fashion Journalism and Media Communication with a focus on Marketing and PR at AMD Hamburg.
Leslie Post
Senior PR Consultant and Representative
Leslie has been part of the team again since 2024 as a Senior PR Consultant and authorized signatory. Previously, she advised international museums such as the MET, the Kunsthaus Zürich and the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern on digital transformation at the Berlin production company maze pictures, designing exhibition films and online formats. After studying media and cultural studies at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, she gained experience in various editorial offices. In 2021 she moved into the world of public relations ans started her career as a consultant at Frohe Botschaft. When Leslie is not working on crisp texts or creative concepts, she loves to cuddle and play with the agency’s four-legged friends.
Anette Schultheis
Office Manager
Anette has been part of Frohe Botschaft since April 2023. As Office Manager, she is dedicated to accounting and documentation. She gained her many years of experience in the media industry and advertising during her 7 years as an assistant to an agency owner and in publishing – the longest station with 25 years – as assistant to the editor-in-chief. Initially at the magazine “Fit for Fun”, later at the program magazine TV SPIELFILM. Furthermore, she has been working as an assistant to a professorial chair at Bucerius Law School for four years. Deeply rooted in Hamburg, she loves the Alster and the Elbe and regularly grounds herself with yoga whenever possible.
Malte Behrens
Trainee
Malte is looking forward to doing his traineeship at Frohe Botschaft after completing his bachelor’s degree in business psychology. During his studies, he worked for various fashion companies and did internships at Hellwig and Kirschbaum Consulting. He spends most of his free time making music, going to concerts or playing football at a moderate level. Maltes four-legged companion Joschi adds another furry friend to the office.
Melina Brockmöller
Student Intern
As part of her specialized secondary school diploma, Melina is completing a one-year internship at Frohe Botschaft, where she is gaining her first experiences in PR – always ready to face new challenges and learn a lot along the way. In her free time, Melina is active in sports, enjoys spending time with friends, or hanging out with her loyal dog Duke. She also impresses with her baking skills, creating everything from cakes to muffins and cookies. With her humor and a smile on her face, she tackles every new challenge that comes her way.
Tessa Cremer
Intern
Tessa will be supporting us as an intern from November 2024 to January 2025. After completing her dual Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Corporate Communications, she gained her first experience in the media industry at WDR and 1LIVE. Now the Rhineland native is drawn to the world of PR and is already looking forward to the agency insights to come. In addition to her passion for media, she is a carnival enthusiast, enjoys sports and loves spending time with her four-legged godchild Homie.
Sandra Müller-Hofner
PR CONSULTANT
Sandra is our travel expert and globetrotter. After completing a traineeship in the editorial department of Fit for Fun at Milchstrasse Publishing Group and spending several years as a freelance journalist in various positions both domestically and internationally, she founded the journalist office Text & Style with her partner in crime, Andrea Fischer. Following many exciting years working on beauty topics, press events, and photo productions for publications like Welt am Sonntag, Men’s Health, Azur, Luna, and many others, the duo launched their “baby,” Trips4kids.de, in 2012—a travel magazine dedicated to families. Here, they provide editorial coverage on hotels, destinations, and activities that are thrilling for families with kids. To do this, they, along with a team of writers, travel the world. Sandra’s heart beats for Italy, theater, and her numerous girlfriends. Sandra and Andrea now manage the new “Travel Section” at Frohe Botschaft.
Andrea Fischer
PR CONSULTANT
Andrea Fischer has been bringing her expertise in hotels, destinations, and lifestyle topics to the Frohe Botschaft team since 2024. When she’s not traveling the world with her children to uncover new stories about fascinating people and unique places, she serves as the co-editor of the online magazine Trips4Kids.de—a family travel magazine she helped launch in 2012.In her role at Trips4Kids.de, Andrea crafts engaging content focused on family-friendly destinations and experiences. Before this, she wrote and produced content for Text & Style, a journalist office that catered to various media outlets such as WELT AM SONNTAG, Petra, LUNA, Azur – Das Kreuzfahrtmagazin, and Men’s Health. Andrea began her journalism career at Milchstraße Publishing Group, where she worked as an editor for Fit For Fun starting in 2003. By 2007, she became the head of the Lifestyle & Beauty section at My Life magazine. Andrea’s academic background is in architecture, with a focus on design and interior design, which she studied at Biberach University of Applied Sciences. Despite her architectural roots in southern Germany, she has never regretted moving to what she calls the most beautiful city in the world.
