Maria founded the agency Frohe Botschaft PR in February 2016. Prior to that she was managing director of the communications agency BEiL² for four years. Between 2008 and 2010, she supported Beiersdorf AG in the communication of international product launches and initiatives to optimize margins for the NIVEA and Eucerin brands and wrote content for the employee magazine face-to-face. As an editor she was responsible for the social column of WELT and WELT AM SONNTAG between 2006 and 2012. At the same time, she wrote for WELT Kompakt, Berliner Morgenpost, the fashion format First Row, published by Burda Verlag, the G+J star spin-off NEON and the Bauer Media weekly Life & Style. In 2003 Maria worked in the editorial department of the online magazine ZOON of Volkswagen AG, the first German-language youth portal with live web talk and social TV. She studied fashion journalism and media communication with a focus on marketing and PR at AMD Hamburg.
Liza Jordan has been working as a PR consultant at Frohe Botschaft PR since September 2016. Previously she completed her master’s degree in “Sustainable Marketing & Leadership” in Hamburg. She gained experience at Nestlé Schöller in Nuremberg and Switzerland. In 2012, she spent half a year at Berkeley College in New York, USA, as part of her bachelor’s degree in international business administration at the EBC Hochschule Hamburg. In addition, during the transition period from bachelor to master, she accompanied the brand appearance and communication strategy of a medium-sized logistics company in Lübeck.
Anika Behrens has been supporting Frohe Botschaft PR as a consultant after becoming part of the team as a junior in June 2017. Anika holds a master’s degree in International Management from Leibniz University in Hanover, Germany. There she completed her bachelor’s degree in economics with a focus on corporate management and information management. Meanwhile she was involved in the field of communication, consulting and events for the student initiative MTP – Marketing zwischen Theorie und Praxis e.V. (Marketing between theory and practice). She gained her first experience in the field of corporate communications at the business development company hannoverimpuls GmbH and the startup lilacard.
Junior PR consultant
In October 2018, Jennifer Ohnmacht started as a volunteer at Frohe Botschaft and has been on board as a junior consultant since December 2019. Jennifer completed her master’s degree in art history at the University of Hamburg and previously received her bachelor’s degree in Frankfurt am Main. She gained her first experience in the Hamburg advertising agencies Interone and fischerAppelt.
Svenja Reipert has been part of Frohe Botschaft since September 2019. She started as an intern and now supports the team as PR Assistent. Previously she completed her Bachelor’s degree in German and History in Göttingen. Prior to her studies, she gained initial experience during a nine-month stay abroad in Genoa.
